Job Description:
Under close supervision, perform a variety of duties and assume responsibilities related to the Document Control Change Control Process which supports our diversified medical device product line across multiple design and manufacturing facilities. This will include, but is not limited to, the creation and maintenance of Bills of Materials, Item Masters, Documents and Change Orders.

Essential functions:

1.Understand the Document Control Change Control Standard Operating Procedure.

2.View, create or modify the following: Bills of Materials (BOMs), Item Masters, Documents, Change Orders (CO), Change Requests (CR), Engineering Drawings and Specifications.

3.Audit Change Orders for completeness and accuracy in accordance with departmental and company procedures, procuring all necessary approvals.

4.Release Change Orders.

5.Perform functions on the Electronic Resource Processing (ERP) systems such as, Error Handling and General Item Maintenance.

6.Interface with various internal customers to procure information, obtain approvals or perform notifications related to Document Control issues. The customers include but are not limited to: Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Planning/Purchasing, Marketing and Quality Control.

7.Participate in special projects related, but not limited to, Legal Discovery, Product Transfers and Vendor Documentation requests.

8.Perform document retrieval related duties such as: document reproduction, distribution and archival.

Minimum requirements:

Education required/ preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent, plus one year additional training in Business or Technology preferred.
Experience: Some previous experience in document control preferred.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Computer Literacy:
Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Knowledge of MS Office, Agile or BPCS a plus.
Detail oriented
Organized
Results driven
Excellent interpersonal skills and team work

Organizational relationships/scope:
Divisional support of plant operations.

Computer Skills:
Agile, BPCS, Microsoft Office including Excel, Word

Success Factors: Preparation and assignment of submitted Change Orders and Change Requests for subject matter expert review. Adaptability to, good attitude for and flexibility with fluctuating workloads are desirable.
