Description:

We are seeking highly motivated, interactive research associate in support of our research efforts in Molecular Diagnostics. Our department focuses on identifying and validating biomarkers that can predict therapeutic outcome of new targets in our pipeline. The main technical focus is tissue based, using standard and state of the art molecular and genomic techniques, performed on preclinical as well as archival clinical material.

Requirement:

Proven proficiency in standard molecular biology technologies (qRT-PCR, mutation detection, cloning), cell culture and protein detection techniques (FACS, Western, IP) is essential; experience with medium throughput approaches to expression quantification (e.g. Fluidigm), histological techniques and the concept of preclinical studies would be a plus.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to succeed in a teamwork-focused environment, as well as excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability and desire to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, innovative, and interdependent research environment.

Education: BS/MS degree or higher with at least 6 years of full time lab experience in either an academic or corporate environment.
